About Me
Hi! I'm Shavon and I am Double The Love, Doula and Lactation services. As your local birth doula, certified lactation counselor and community health worker, I offer personalized, hands-on and virtual support. I am a native of Chicago & Memphis and currently reside in Georgia. I have a daughter in college and twin toddler boys. I have successfully breastfed my children a total of 30 months. When I am not empowering new families I enjoy reading and spending time with my family.
I began Double The Love in 2019 to educate expectant families on how to advocate for themselves using informed consent in their birthing environment. I am connected to birth work through my own experience and I aim to bring joy to all expectant mother's births while specializing in multiples. I also provide breastfeeding support to postpartum families through in person and virtual care. My desire is that you feel at peace with your birthing choices and the outcome. Empowering women to make informed choices in their care is the key.

Home Visits
I offer in home services to new families to help make their experience more personalized and in depth in the comforts of your home to answer any of your birthing and breastfeeding concerns.
Lactation Counselor
As a lactation counselor, I am trained to educate expectant and new families on the benefits of breastfeeding for both mother and baby.
Birth Doula
As a certified doula, I am trained and experienced in childbirth and help to prepare families for birth by working with the mother to develop a birthing plan, educating her about the birthing process.
